The MS Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo will take place from Thursday, July 1 – Sunday, July 4. It’s a family-friendly event hosted daily from noon – 10:30 PM at the Gulfport Harbor. There is a $5 entry (5 years and under free) with free parking across the street. There is also a Kids Fishing Rodeo and Tournament, along with other fun activities. Click here for a schedule of events.


Our Lady of the Gulf’s annual Crab Festival is Thursday, July 1 – Saturday, July 3. This is a free weekend of craft vendors and live music, with a ton of seafood to eat. Join the fun from 11AM – 11 PM at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis.


4th of July Lynn Meadows

Lynn Meadows Discovery Center will be open from noon – 5 PM on July 4th. Fun activities are planned for the kids such as outdoor games, watermelon at 1 PM and celebrating the #4 for the Fourth of July in the Artist Studio.

The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum will be open from noon – 5 PM in July 4. Come get a patriotic goodie and popsicles! Ride trains and wave the flag or take a picture in Uncle Sam’s selfie booth.


Dress in your best patriotic outfit for the 40th annual Wesson Memorial Health Run on Saturday, July 3 at 8 AM in Ocean Springs. This is a 2 mile run/walk and 1/4 mile children’s run. There is a $20 raceday entry (cash only), or an register early.


4th of July infinity Space centerCelebrate July 4th at INFINITY Science Center! Bring the kids to launch pre-made rockets on July 3! Rockets cost $10. Supplies are limited. Launches will be held at 1 and 3 PM. Stop by the decoration station to give your rocket some patriotic flair! Rockets can be purchased at the Admissions Desk.


Pascagoula has their city show at Beach Park at 8:45 PM.

Fort Maurepas Park on Front Beach is the place to be for Ocean Springs’ show at 8:45 PM.

The City of Biloxi will have their show at 9 PM. Best viewing is from the Biloxi Lighthouse to the Biloxi Bay Bridge with accompanying music on FM 105.9.

Gulfport will light up the sky on July 4th from Gulfport Harbor at 8:45 PM.

Take the family to Presley’s Outing in Moss Point, located on Goodes Mill Lake. Enjoy freshwater fishing, camping, kayaks or spend the day swimming! Grill pits are available or enjoy food from The Boathouse Restaurant. A live DJ will be playing your fave summer tunes! Then stay and enjoy the Golf Cart Parade at 6 PM, with a fireworks show to follow!

The Biloxi Schooner will sail at 7 PM on July 4th. This is a fun opportunity to sail, BYOB and take in a beautiful view. Call 228-435-6320 for information on reservations and pricing.

Ship Island Excursions will also be taking fireworks tours in Biloxi and Gulfport. These tours leave at 7 PM and are $29/person.


The Blind Tiger in Bay St. Louis will be hosting an epic party on Saturday, July 3 from 6 – 10 PM.

4th of July Mississippi AquariumThe All Ales at the Sails Star-Spangled Banner event will be hosted July 4th beginning at 6 PM. Tickets include admission into the Aquarium and access to Mississippi Aquarium’s reserved front lawn for prime viewing of City of Gulfport’s firework display. Be sure to get your tickets now, as they are limited!
